Stick it to Cancer is BACK!

Stick it to Cancer (SITC) is a fun, fancy dress themed hockey tournament designed to raise funds for Maggie’s. SITC will offer hockey teams the opportunity to participate in a Round Robin tournament. In addition to the festival there will be an after party for all participants and their supporters where awards will be presented.
The hockey festival will take place at Edinburgh Accies pitches on East Fettes Avenue. The STICK IT TO CANCER after party will take place at Harry’s Bar at Randolph Place in Edinburgh.
Saturday 13th July 2019. Registration is 9.00 – 9.30am with the first fixtures starting at 10.00am. The tournament will run to 5.00pm. The after party will start at 7.30pm with awards being announced at 8.30pm.
Who can play?
Anyone aged 14+. Each team can have a maximum of 10 registered players. This is a mixed tournament for all abilities. Please note anyone aged below 18 will not be able to attend the evening celebration. Sorry!
How much does it cost?
The cost of entry is £200 per team. Please note any teams with more than 10 players will have to pay an additional £20 per person. Payment using Debit or Credit card can be paid at www.paypal.me/heatherfucancer.co.uk. Please note if you use a Credit card to send money PayPal may charge a fee. For alternative methods of payment please contact Heather.
How do I get involved?
To enter a team please complete the team registration form and arrange payment using the details below. Deadlines for entries is Sunday 23rd June. Forms should be emailed to email@example.com. The cost of entry should be paid at paypal.me/heatherfucancer Please use the Team Captain’s name as a reference for payment and email firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm.

What do I need to take part?
You are expected to provide your own equipment. We would advise wearing shin pads, mouth guard and appropriate sports clothing/fancy dress. Balls will be supplied. Don’t forget your stick!!
I don’t have a team – can I still take part?
YES! If you haven’t got a team but are keen to get involved please let us know and we will add you to one. The cost of entry as a single player is £20 per person. You can contact us via the Facebook page or contacting Heather on the details below.
Why do it?
All the money raised through SITC will go to Maggie’s. Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends.
