On the 8th April 2014 I woke up to live the day like any other. I was 27, working in a job I loved and surrounded by friends and family. By the time the sun came to set my life took an unexpected turn: I was diagnosed with cervical cancer. Life as I knew it was gone forever.

This blog is a brutally honest insight to what life is like living with and beyond cancer. I share my experiences of the treatment itself in addition to the aftermath of remission. Remission has been unimaginably hard. Cancer has left me feeling alienated, angry and misunderstood. To combat this I have to decided to start Project 30 – a list of challenges to achieve before my 30th birthday in July 2016. This is how I want to say #FUCancer!

My aim is to maintain this blog so all #FUCancer fighters know they are not alone! I want to help raise awareness of cancer itself and the impact it can have upon people and their families especially beyond the treatment.

  1. Hello! I understand this is kind of off-topic but I needed to
ask. Does managing a well-established website like yours take a massive amount work?

I’m brand new to blogging but I do write in my
journal every day. I’d like to start a blog so I can share my personal
experience and views online. Please let me know if you have any
kind of ideas or tips for new aspiring bloggers. Thankyou!

  2. I really love your blog.. Very nice colors & theme. Did you create this web site yourself?
Please reply back as I’m wanting to create my very own blog and would
love to find out where you got this from or what the theme is named.
    Many thanks!

  3. May I simply say what a relief to uncover someone who really knows what they
are discussing on the net. You actually know how to
bring an issue to light and make it important. More people have to look at this and understand this side of
your story. I can’t believe you are not more popular since you surely have the gift.
